Living Church of God: Commentaries

Commentary: Receiving help
Very few men and women are "self-made" individuals. We all have had the help of many people as we have traveled along life's road. Perhaps it was our parents, a friend or a teacher, who gave us the love, help and guidance we needed to become who we are today. Without these caring individuals, our lives would be markedly different. Many people may offer us their help. But how we react to their offers of aid can make all the difference between success and failure in our lives. Click here to read more.

Take off your traditional veil!

David Ben-Ariel has left a new comment on your post "A TRUE HISTORY of the TRUE CHURCH":

Daniel, it's sad that even when you've been presented with overwhelming evidence about the true Church of God, one that follows Jesus and Peter and the other apostles' example of keeping the seventh day Sabbath, Passover (not pagan Easter or other hollow days stolen from paganism), dietary laws, etc. you continue to blindly follow the accursed Roman Catholic Cult!

Won't you take off your traditional veil that you may see clearly and let the plain truth set you free?

A Higher Morality?

A Higher Morality?
July 15, 2008

Aside from the pain of seeing two coffins rather than live soldiers, there should also be a reassessment of the deal made to free our soldiers. It is one thing for us to return terrorist bodies for the bodies of our soldiers, but it is outrageous to consider trading live murderers for dead soldiers. It must be assumed that those who made this morbid deal had hoped that our soldiers were still alive. Now that we know otherwise it is our obligation to limit the exchange only to dead arabs.

Had we any sense of decency the very least we would do is demand the return of Gilad Shalit alive before turning murderers loose. We would do even better to suggest that they will get their murderer in the same condition as we get Shalit. Otherwise we are encouraging the abductors to murder Shalit and all Jewish captives. Why should they keep them alive if they can get what they want even if they are dead? We have a moral obligation to the lives of our captives and that of future captives. If there is to be any hope to get them back alive it is only by refusing to exchange live murderers for dead soldiers.

It amazes me to listen to our leaders talk about morality as they agree to turn murderers loose. They claim that we have an obligation to return our soldiers home at any price. But they are liars. We have the ability to get all of our soldiers back if we had the stomach to do so. We have far more Arab captives in our jails then they have Jewish captives. We should announce that ten of these murderers will be executed every day until our captives are returned unharmed. And if any harm comes to our soldiers, we will execute all of our prisoners found guilty of terrorist acts. After the first ten are shot it is likely that our captives will be returned. This is true morality, but our leaders wouldn’t recognize it if they tripped over it.

Treating Arab murderers with kid gloves in our prisons while Jewish captives are tortured and murdered only encourages terror. Rather than acting on an alleged “higher morality”, in fact we are being extremely immoral. Our sages have taught us that, “to be merciful unto the cruel will eventually lead to being cruel unto the merciful.” This is true Jewish morality. Let us stop acting with false morality and begin to implement genuine Jewish morality. “When someone comes to murder you, rise up first and kill him”. The concept of turning the other cheek is not to be found in the Jewish Bible.

Project Shofar is dedicated to spreading these truths wherever it is possible to do so. It is sounding the alarm, to Jew and Gentile alike,to open our eyes to the G-dly process that is presently underway, and work to support it. We dare not stand idly on the sidelines.

Peace Now: Arabs and Jews Must Go Their Separate Ways
Genesis 15:
18 On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram and said, "To your descendants [through Isaac] I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the Euphrates: 19 the land of the Kenites, Kenizzites, Kadmonites, 20 Hittites, Perizzites, Rephaites, 21 Amorites, Canaanites, Girgashites and Jebusites."

THEY MUST GO
It is imperative that there begins, today, a campaign among world Jewry to explain the full extent of the Arab hatred and danger. The complete truth must be told to the masses of good Jews both to justify the need to remove the Arabs and to expose the dangers of the liberal Establishment bloc.

Thoughts on Meir Kahane...
The idea that Jew-hatred was the problem of the Jew-hater and that it was the job of the Jew to "educate" the Jew-hater not to manifest that hatred - expressed in the following Talmudic dictum "he who raises his hand to bless you, bless him first; he who raises his hand to kill you, kill him first" - was truly liberating for me, who had always been taught that "good Jewish boys don't fight".

Israel's Betrayal of the Jews
Let Jews and Israelis examine Israel's betrayal of the Jews before it's too late and Jerusalem suffers under EU occupation.

Christians Reject "Palestine" for the Promised Land of Israel
Satan inspired the Romans to mock God and dishonor our Father by attempting to erase Israel's name off the map! "They have said, 'Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more'" (Psalms 83:4).

Shimon Peres Has No Clothes: Where's the Peace?
Israel has no peace partners, and every one of the Arab groups' charters or covenants call for Israel's destruction. Fatah, Hamas, the PLO -- they're all one and the same except for patience and procedures.

Christian Zionists, Jews, and Israel
I am a Bible-believer, a Christian-Zionist (one who believes the Prophets foretold the restoration of Jews first of all 12 Tribes of Israel to the Promised Land of Israel before the end of this world as we know it). I am not a Protestant or a "Jew for Jesus" and certainly not a member of the Roman Catholic Cult. I am a baptized member of the Sabbath-keeping Church of God...

That Old-Time Religion In Europe

That Old-time Religion In Europe, the churches are finding their political voice again – By Robert Misik
The Atlantic Times, July 2008

After decades of restraint, Europe’s Christian churches – above all Catholicism – have re-entered the political arena. It’s partly because this has already happened elsewhere in the world.

To Americans, Europe is a continent predominantly populated by atheists. The few remaining believers live their faith quietly. That religion belongs in the private sphere and has no place in public life is a consensus that has become second nature to most Europeans.

By the same token, from Europe, the U.S. seems pretty much the opposite – an inscrutable land where almost every second inhabitant believes the Bible to be literally true and where 90 percent of the citizens would never vote someone into a political office if he or she didn’t believe in God.

As so often with clichés, neither is completely wrong nor absolutely correct. In Europe, it’s especially the Catholic Church that is intensifying its presence in public life and, more specifically, in politics once again.

Political Catholicism remained influential in Catholic Europe into the 1930s. While at that time it was at loggerheads with democracy, today – ironically – religious political activism is justified as being particularly democratic.

Religion-based attitudes and opinions, too, are “the sentiments of the citizens,” as Vienna’s Archbishop Christoph Cardinal Schönborn recently put it. In practice, however, the devout aren’t always as innocent as they might claim. Recent attempts by the Spanish and Italian clergy to intervene in elections, governments and lawmaking have made for headlines all around Europe.

Before Spain’s parliamentary elections last March, the government of Socialist Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero was locked in a showdown with the church, the likes of which hadn’t been seen for years. Referring to a law authorizing gay marriage that the government had approved, the Spanish Bishops’ Conference declared that those who embraced such initiatives were “unelectable” for devout Catholics.

On appeals from the bishops, 200,000 people took part in a demonstration “for the traditional family.” Madrid’s Archbishop Antonio María Rouco Varela openly called for “voting (the Socialists) out of office.” Cardinals raged against “radical secularism” to the cheers of the crowd.

Notably, Pope Benedict XVI addressed the demonstration live on a huge screen, per videoconference from Rome. There are also persistent rumors in Italy that the Vatican and Italy’s bishops helped engineer the downfall of former Prime Minister Romano Prodi earlier this year.

Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco, president of the Italian Bishops’ Conference, said in January, “again, at long last, we need a Christian-aligned government that represents and implements our values.” On the same day, Christian Democrat Clemente Mastella, who until then was Prodi’s justice minister, announced he was withdrawing his support of the prime minister.

By now pundits are warning, for example in the liberal Viennese daily Der Standard, of a “second coming of papist politics.” In response, Vicar General Camillo Ruini, the direct representative of the Pope in his capacity as the Bishop of Rome, insisted that the church “…couldn’t act in any other way but to intervene when questions of ethics hang in the balance.”

Signs of a new, harder political line are becoming more frequent, even in ostensibly liberal Western European Christianity. There is a series of reasons for these trends. One is that the worldwide discourse on the renaissance of faith is bolstering the confidence of religious authorities – including in Europe. Although places of worship aren’t necessarily filling and the established churches still bleed more members than they gain, when viewed from a historical perspective, times are changing.

Ten or twenty years ago, even church leaders saw secularism as the historical trend. Today, by the same token, the secularism of Europe appears exceptional in history. During the past 15 years, entire regions of the world have been engulfed by a wave of re-spiritualization. Additionally, it’s becoming clear that the long-term trend of secularization seems to have come to a halt even in Europe. The percentage of those who call themselves “a-religious” has not significantly increased in the past 20 years.

The rise of political Islam, gains in power for evangelical circles in the U.S. and fundamentalist trends in the Russian Orthodox Church all have “inspirational” effects. Political designs of religious leaders and activists certainly have different causes in different places but they also interact and feed on one other. The Catholic bishops of the European West are becoming more politically active partly because they are being confronted with examples of clerical politics that, from their point of view, are succeeding.

In the course of these developments, both allure and fear play a role. Many devout Christians in Europe are fascinated by what they perceive as the Muslims’ “intensity of faith.” “This courage of confession is impressive,” said Hans Küng, theologian from Tübingen, himself a respected and enlightened Catholic thinker. Meanwhile, wallowing in fear of Muslim immigrants is becoming a favorite pastime. Against the newcomers the continent’s “Christian identity” is continously invoked.

All this is supplying church leaders with new allies. Even the president of a country as secular as France, Nicolas Sarkozy, recently said, “The roots of France are essentially Christian.” Statements like these promote the emergence of a religiosity that first and foremost serves to set oneself apart from others. Studies have shown that the appearance of religious minorities also make the Christian majority feel more “Christian.”

Pope Benedict XVI has declared the “re-evangelization of Europe” part of the program of his pontificate. It sounds harmless enough but would not be good news. The revival of religion in political discourse brings with it an “us-against-them” rhetoric. Religions are a potentially powerful force to stir up hatred against other people, and the distance from a renaissance of faith to a rivalry of fundamentalists is mostly a small step.

Racism and xenophobia increasingly pop up in religious jargon. Hardly surprising, then, that anti-immigrant and radical right-wing parties – for example in Austria, Italy, Denmark – have taken up the alleged threat of Islam to Europe as one of their central issues.

When religion espouses politics, patterns of identity harden as a result. The world is placed in compartments. Here are “we,” there are “the others.” But it is mutual tolerance and respect that the world needs.

Bavarian Pope Entrusts Germany to Lead Europe, Others Wary of Grand Inquisitor
The "holy Roman" arrived in Munich to galvanize the underground forces ready to spring into action to revive the empire of the German Nation, all allegedly in service to Europa - a damsel in distress - and in pagan devotion to "Mary"...

The Intelligence Summit Misses the Mark: the German-Jesuit Threat to World Peace
The whole world has been focusing on Islamic terrorism, as is understandable, but the greatest threat to world peace is the German-dominated European Union! The United States has foolishly been helping to create such a Frankenstein Monster that will brutally betray both the American, British and Jewish peoples.

Europe's Bitter Roots
As prophesied, there were four Gentile superpowers: Babylon, the Medes and Persians, Greco-Macedonian, and Rome (Dan. 2:31-45). These are the roots Europe would do well to research.

Sorcerer-Pope to Bewitch Europe and Mislead the Masses
Watch for the pagan sorcerer-pope to start performing many supernatural deeds, counterfeit miracles, to mislead the masses and get them eating out of his hand to support the Vatican's elect to "defend" Europe and "Western Christian Civilization" and murder any who oppose them.

Bavarian Pope to Sweep Europe Off its Feet?
Watch for the pagan sorcerer-pope to start performing many supernatural deeds, counterfeit miracles, to mislead the masses and get them eating out of his hand to support the Vatican's elect to "defend" Europe and "Western Christian Civilization" and murder any who oppose them.

Catholic Europe in Vogue?
Are the Europeans about to restore the power and influence of their respective Royals? In Rome's mind, only an IMPERIAL RESTORATION can save mankind! That explains why the present pontiff has proclaimed that he's on a mission from God to unite Europe from the Atlantic to the Urals. How? By remodeling Europe after the grand design of the "Holy Roman Empire."

The Ron Paul Freedom March

The Ron Paul Freedom March
By Chuck Baldwin
July 15, 2008
This column is archived at
I was privileged to be invited to speak at Congressman Ron Paul's Freedom
March this past Saturday on the Mall in front of the U.S. Capitol in
Washington, D.C. In fact, I spoke immediately preceding Dr. Paul and helped
introduce the ten-term congressman.
I gauged the crowd to number in excess of five thousand people. All the
participants I observed were very respectful, well mannered, and polite. The
crowd was about as diverse an audience as I have ever spoken to. They came
from all walks of life and from all points across the country. I was able to
spend an hour or more mingling with the crowd and was delighted to meet many
scores of people who already knew of me. A large number indicated that they
were readers of this column.
Participants in the Freedom March all seemed to have this in common: a love
and desire for liberty, and a deep respect and admiration for Congressman
Ron Paul. I count it an honor to have been asked to speak to such a
wonderful group. Dr. Paul said some extremely kind words about me in his
remarks, as did the man who introduced me, Ernest Hancock, the great patriot
from Phoenix, Arizona.
I was also honored to meet several great Americans whom I have come to love
and respect over the years: people such as retired police officer, Jack
McLamb. It was also good to share the podium with my good friend, Howard
Phillips, who was extremely complimentary of me during his address, as was
Officer McLamb.
Marchers had spent six hours in the blazing, 90-degree sun before my turn to
speak arrived. And both Congressman Paul and myself had to catch flights out
of DC soon after our speeches, so I cut my remarks short so as to give Dr.
Paul maximum opportunity to deliver his remarks. Therefore, my speech lasted
only about 5 minutes.
Below is a link to my speech at Ron Paul's Freedom March (albeit the opening
remarks of the address were inadvertently omitted. Perhaps another video
will surface soon. When it does, we will post it to my web site at
See my speech at the Ron Paul Freedom March in Washington, D.C. at
This one thing I surely believe: our liberties and freedoms, yea, the
Constitution itself, are hanging by the thinnest of threads. Both major
parties have sliced and diced constitutional government to the point that
there isn't much left. And the two presumptive candidates for President from
the two major parties will only continue to eviscerate what few freedoms and
liberties are left.
Both Barack Obama and John McCain will do nothing to secure our borders and
ports. Neither will do anything to quench the thirst of our federal
government for intrusions abroad and meddling within. Neither will do
anything to stop the machinations and lust of the power-elite for globalism
and corporatism. They will do nothing to stop the NAFTA superhighway or the
burgeoning North American Union. They will do nothing to rid our country of
its dependence on foreign oil, and neither will they do anything to stop the
infatuation with spending billions and billions of taxpayer dollars on
foreign aid.
Elect either John McCain or Barack Obama and it will be business as usual in
Washington, D.C.
Those folks who traveled from all over America to participate in Ron Paul's
Freedom March last Saturday understand this. They understand that unless we
awaken quickly to what the two major parties are doing to our country, we
will not have a free country much longer. This is why so many people were
willing to travel long distances and march in searing heat. They want their
country back. And so do I.
So, I say, God bless Congressman Ron Paul. God bless those Freedom Marchers.
And God bless all of those folks throughout America who are working
tirelessly to restore our once-great republic. As I said in my speech last
Saturday, "Your fight is my fight!"

Terrorist Mandela Should Have Been Executed

Sad The Toledo Blade chooses to simply repeat the AP mantra about Nelson Mandela rather than honestly inform its readers about the smooth-talking terrorist who sings about killing white people with his comrades. You missed another opportunity to expose the very dangerous and serious crimes of the whitewashed Mandela that are the reason he was imprisoned and should have been executed. At least years ago when I blasted your putrid praise of the wicked Winnie (necklace) Mandela, you came to your senses and retracted your blather.
Although I doubt you would publish the plain truth about the murderous Mandela (who loves to hate US and coddles the likes of Castro, Arafat, Mugabe, and other unsavory characters), preferring mainstream lies and misrepresentations about the forged hero, here they are to further indict you for your irresponsibility and woeful neglect:
The full list of munitions and charges read as follows:

• One count under the South African Suppression of Communism Act No. 44 of 1950, charging that the accused committed acts calculated to further the achievement of the objective of communism;

• One count of contravening the South African Criminal Law Act (1953), which prohibits any person from soliciting or receiving any money or articles for the purpose of achieving organized defiance of laws and country; and

• Two counts of sabotage, committing or aiding or procuring the commission of the following acts:

1) The further recruitment of persons for instruction and training, both within and outside the Republic of South Africa, in:

(a) the preparation, manufacture and use of explosives—for the purpose of committing acts of violence and destruction in the aforesaid Republic, (the preparation and manufacture of explosives, according to evidence submitted, included 210,000 hand grenades, 48,000 anti-personnel mines, 1,500 time devices, 144 tons of ammonium nitrate, 21.6 tons of aluminum powder and a ton of black powder);

(b) the art of warfare, including guerrilla warfare, and military training generally for the purpose in the aforesaid Republic;

(ii) Further acts of violence and destruction, (this includes 193 counts of terrorism committed between 1961 and 1963);

(iii) Acts of guerrilla warfare in the aforesaid Republic;

(iv) Acts of assistance to military units of foreign countries when involving the aforesaid Republic;

(v) Acts of participation in a violent revolution in the aforesaid Republic, whereby the accused, injured, damaged, destroyed, rendered useless or unserviceable, put out of action, obstructed, with or endangered:

(a) the health or safety of the public;
(b) the maintenance of law and order;

(c) the supply and distribution of light, power or fuel;
(d) postal, telephone or telegraph installations;
(e) the free movement of traffic on land; and
(f) the property, movable or immovable, of other persons or of the state.
