"Dr." Martin Luther King, Jr. exposed as a fraud!

Excerpt from Martin Luther King, Jr. (& L.H De Wolff)

Allegations: Plagiarism in college and graduate school papers, including his doctoral dissertation on "A Comparison of the Conceptions of God in the Thinking of Paul Tillich and Henry Nelson Wieman"; Verbatim thefts also discovered in political speeches including the famous "I Have a Dream" speech (see Pappas' Plagiarism and the Culture War, Hallberg revised and expanded version, p. 133)

...

It was the British press which first broke the news with regard to King's plagiarism, an indication of just how sensitive an issue this was for American newspapers. An article in the December 3rd (1989) edition of the Sunday Telegraph by Frank Johnson asked, "Martin Luther King--Was He a Plagiarist?"

But it was not until November 9, 1990 that a major U.S. media outlet released the story on King's plagiarism--even though this story had been known for over a year in the newsrooms of major newspapers. In the U.S., The Wall Street Journal was the first to go public with a front page article entitled, "To Their Dismay, King Scholars Find a Troubling Pattern--Civil Rights Leader was Lax in Attributing Some Parts of His Academic Papers".

This story was definitely a hot potato--too hot to handle for the same institutions which had "lionized" and deified a mere mortal.

The response of academia was particularly appalling:

"They lied, they told half-truths, they made up fables, they did everything they could but address facts. In the face of their own university's rules against plagiarism, Boston University's academic authorities and professors somehow found excuses for King's plagiarism. They found extenuating circumstances . . . they compromised their own university's integrity . . . [and] called into question the very standing of the university as a place where cheating is penalized and misrepresentation condemned" (Jacob Neusner, in the Foreward to Theodore Pappas' The Martin Luther King, Jr., Plagiarism Story).

There were scores of responses written after these discoveries of verbatim theft by King, basically in defense of plagiarism. As Neusner notes, "To defend King's plagiarism, plagiarism finds itself cleaned up and made a virtue of blacks". Authors such as Keith Miller used the black preaching tradition and "oral culture" as an excuse for King's somehow having been held to a lower academic standard than what might have been expected of whites at a place such as Boston University in the 1950s.

Critics such as Barry Gross delivered a scathing indictment of the scholarly incompetence at Boston University which led to King's receiving a PhD awarded for a dissertation containing extensive amounts of plagiarism. Compounding the incompetence, the plagiarism in King's dissertation on "A Comparison of the Conceptions of God in the Thinking of Paul Tillich and Henry Nelson Wieman" was from another theology student (Jack Boozer) who had had the same advisor as King just three years previously, namely Professor L. Harald De Wolff.

Gross delivers some pretty damning speculations as to why De Wolff never noticed or responded to King's plagiarism of Boozer:

"So how did King's plagiarism get by? Well, there are three possibilities: Professor De Wolff neglected to read either or both theses, in which case he was incompetent, or Professor De Wolff read them both and failed to notice the plagiarism, in which case, also, he was incompetent, or Professor De Wolff noticed the plagiarism but did not think it serious enough to mention, in which case, too, he was incompetent. There is a fourth hypothesis that is possibly even more damning: that Professor De Wolff noticed the plagiarism but did not think it mattered for a black man destined to be a preacher to be held to a rigorous scholarly standard" (From Gross's review of The Martin Luther King, Jr. Plagiarism Story).

The final hypothesis mentioned by Gross seems to be quite plausible since Theodore Pappas alludes in his work to rumours suggesting that King had, in fact, been advised by his dissertation committee to cite his sources according to academic convention. Quite unfortunately, he did not do this, and his dissertation committee never followed up to see if their advice had been heeded, if, in fact, such advice had ever been given.

Shortly after the stonewalling and coverup attempted by those overseeing the King Papers Project (Clayborne Carson of Stanford University, and Ralph Luker of Emory University), two important books were published by Theodore Pappas: The Martin Luther King, Jr. Plagiarism Story and Plagiarism and the Culture War. In the years since the discovery of King's plagiaries, a number of other excellent research projects have resulted in dissertations and reports on different aspects of the plagiaries of Martin Luther King, Jr.

What this ongoing research seems to most clearly portray is not just the shortcomings of Martin Luther King, Jr. himself, but the failures of academia in confronting intellectual fraud and in holding scholars to high standards of academic integrity whatever their racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.

All the more reason to question: Martin Luther King Day?

Do West Africans have particular reason to help Haitians?

Senegal’s President Abdoulaye Wade is telling Haitians they are welcome to come and live in West Africa, and ‘return to their roots’.

Do West Africans have particular reason to help Haitians?

A wonderful idea! A wonderful opportunity for Haiti to help themselves. Has anyone other than Senegal’s President Abdoulaye Wade offered the Haitians this opportunity to repatriate? And did they offer it during Katrina too? And if not, why not?

Let Haiti help themselves

Let Haiti help themselves
We can help Haiti by leaving them to fend for themselves, to get their act together, to finally form some proper government and stop demanding the White Man do everything for them or we should restore colonialism, new and improved, full force!

Thank You, Governor

Thank You, Governor
by Chuck Baldwin
January 15, 2010

Former Navy SEAL, professional wrestler, and Minnesota governor, Jesse Ventura, recently launched a new television show on the truTV (formerly known as Court TV) cable channel. The first episode debuted on Wednesday, December 2, 2009. And the final episode of this season aired this past Wednesday, January 13, 2010.

Here is the official web site for truTV's Conspiracy Theory:

http://www.trutv.com/shows/conspiracy_theory/index.html

According to press reports, 1.6 million viewers watched the premiere episode on December 2, which set a record for the network. I was one of those viewers. And I've seen each of this first season's 7 episodes.

Predictably, mainstream critics have universally condemned the series. Linda Stasi of The Washington Times said the show is "Mindless, good fun and a hoot to watch aging action stars still taking action." Robert Lloyd of the Los Angeles Times said, "Whatever truth is out there, it's filtered here through what is arranged more as an adventure series than a documentary."

First of all, let me state up front that I typically disdain "reality" shows. The only ones that are any good are Les Stroud's Survivorman and Bear Grylls' Man vs. Wild (and I really enjoy both of those programs). The rest of the so-called "reality" shows are junk, as far as I'm concerned (okay, I did enjoy watching a few episodes of Ice Road Truckers).

Contrary to the rants of modern critics, however, Ventura's Conspiracy Theory is not "reality" television or "mindless, good fun." It is better investigative reporting than anything I've seen on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN or FOX NEWS in a long, long time.

For the most part, the mainstream media have become lackeys and lap dogs for the established political order and the powerful potentates that control it. Yes, I'm saying it: we have a tightly controlled mainstream media in America today (especially at the national level). Reporters are told what to report (or more fittingly, what NOT to report) and how to report it; and any reporter or journalist who dares to step outside the box will quickly be unemployed. And for those of you journalists and reporters who are reading this right now, if you smirk at what I just said, why don't you try it and see what happens? Anything that challenges the establishment's order is totally off-limits. Every reporter and journalist working for the establishment media knows where the "third rail" is--and they avoid it at all costs. And the cost is TRUTH.

No wonder the critics hate Ventura's show: here was the first season episode lineup (taken from its web site):

Week One: HAARP

Is it a communications research project or a doomsday weapon that can change the weather, shoot satellites out of orbit--and trigger mind control across the globe? Jesse Ventura and his team head north to a remote region of Alaska to confront the military installation called HAARP.

Week Two: 9/11

Jesse Ventura steps into America's most controversial conspiracy by challenging the 9/11 Commission Report and searching for evidence that the September 11th attacks may have been an inside job. At the urging of victims' families, he finds witnesses who claim the towers were brought down by explosives, the missing black box flight recorders were actually recovered and ground control knew the hijackers were in the cockpits before the jets took off.

Week Three: Global Warming

Whether global warming is real or not, it's believed some people are using the issue to make billions of dollars, start a one-world government and control our lives, from the cars we drive to the foods we eat. Jesse Ventura starts with Al Gore and goes far beyond as he uncovers the evidence that leads to one man thought to be behind the global warming conspiracy.

Week Four: Big Brother

Big Brother is watching and it's not who you think. Jesse Ventura's investigation of government surveillance on its citizens tears the lid off a nationwide program that is thought to turn local businessmen and office workers into spies, snooping on their neighbors and ratting on their friends in exchange for information and special privileges from the FBI--including, some charge, a "license to kill."

Week Five: Secret Societies

They're thought to be a group of the world's elite who meet once a year at a luxury hotel and decide how they will run the world. It's believed they plan to thin out the population through disease--and vaccines. Jesse Ventura infiltrates the Bilderberg Group.

Week Six: Manchurian Candidate

Authors and experts warn that forces within the government have revived a program that uses mind control techniques to turn ordinary citizens into programmed assassins. This real-life Manchurian Candidate seems outlandish--until Jesse Ventura searches for the evidence and goes face-to-face with a man who claims he's one of the killers.

Week Seven: Apocalypse 2012

It's believed that the world is heading for disaster in 2012 and the government is preparing to save and protect the elite--while leaving the rest of us to fend for ourselves. Jesse Ventura investigates claims of top secret underground bunkers being built in places ranging from the Nevada desert to the White House, including the largest, now under construction beneath a major metropolitan airport.

As one can easily see, each of these topics is a "third rail" to the vast majority of the mainstream media--especially at the national level. Yet, Ventura (and truTV) had the guts to tackle these topics head-on. And he broached each investigation with a deliberate professionalism and dogged determination befitting a Navy SEAL.

As far as I am concerned, anyone who believes that there is no concerted effort--no conspiracy, if you please--by wealthy and powerful individuals to steal our liberties and turn us into slaves and serfs is totally not paying attention, or is in a psychotic dream world of denial, or is a compliant partner with the conspiracy.

How Christians, especially, can doubt the existence of a devilish conspiracy to trample not only our freedom, but also our faith, is doubly disconcerting. Does not Scripture plainly warn, "Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us." (Psalms 2:1-3 KJV)

Christians, of all people, should be the first ones to join in fighting against the promoters and purveyors of this devilish New World Order that is wreaking havoc upon our country. That so many of them are not is a stain against the Church--of gargantuan proportions!

Did Ventura get every jot and tittle perfect? Probably not. Given the depth of the corruption and cover up that has gone into the promotion and implementation of the matters discussed--not to mention the limited time and resources available to Ventura and his small staff--that he was able to dig up the amount of testimony and material that he did was absolutely amazing.

I anxiously await the arrival of the entire first season on DVD. I suggest you obtain a copy as soon as they are available, as well, because this program will probably face the same fate as the CBS program JERICHO: swift cancellation. The powers that be are adamantly opposed to the light of truth shining on their dark desires and draconian designs. If you doubt that, get this:

"In a lengthy academic paper, President Obama's regulatory czar, Cass Sunstein, argued the U.S. government should ban 'conspiracy theorizing.'

"Among the beliefs Sunstein would ban is advocating that the theory of global warming is a deliberate fraud.

"Sunstein also recommended the government send agents to infiltrate [I'm sure they already do] 'extremists who supply conspiracy theories' to disrupt the efforts of the 'extremists' to propagate their theories."

See the whole report at:

http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=121884

In the coming Brave New World currently being manufactured by today's globalists, even believing "conspiracy theories" might soon be illegal. Do you really think they will let patriots such as Jesse Ventura continue to awaken people to what's going on? So, you'd better get the DVDs while you can (and if you can).

In the meantime, Thank you, Governor. It was a job well done!

Black Day in America

Black Day in America: Obama Wins, America Loses

What nation in its right mind, after 9/11, after Osama (at least his collaboration with the powers that be on it), after our alleged war on terrorism, would elect a questionable and dark character who is pro-Muslim, raised during his influential years in Muslim countries, has attended a hateful Afro-racist congregation that preaches anti-American and anti-white sermons typical of Black Liberation Theology, is endorsed by avowed Black racists and rabid Nazi Muslims, etc. would let Barack Hussein Obama even entertain the notion of running for president for a second? It certainly appears America is under a curse and those who treacherously voted for that fraud and foreigner are helping to make Marxist Jeremiah Wright’s wish come true that God damn America. Shame!

Jeremiah Wright, Al Sharpton, Barack Obama, Louis Farrakhan, Jesse Jackson and others all represent the curse of reverse discrimination, the tail wagging the dog, the animals running the farm, the serious consequences for White Israelite disobedience to God (Deuteronomy 28:43).

We've failed to learn from history and have an illegitimate president elect; we've been deaf, dumb and blind to the two witnesses of raped Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe ruins) and besieged South Africa (that testify against our madness); and we've rejected common sense. Now we'll have hell to pay for it! God save us all!

"I will say, then, that I AM NOT NOR HAVE EVER BEEN in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the black and white races---that I am not, nor ever have been, in favor of making voters or jurors of Negroes, nor of qualifying them to hold office, nor to intermarry with White people; and I will say in addition to this that there is a physical difference between the White and black races which will ever FORBID the two races living together on terms of social and political equality. And inasmuch as they cannot so live, while they do remain together, there must be the position of superior and inferior, and I, as much as any other man, am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the White race."

Race Assumes Central Role in New Orleans Vote

Race Assumes Central Role in New Orleans Vote
By CAMPBELL ROBERTSON
A prominent black candidate’s decision to drop out means the city might elect its first white mayor in 32 years.

The New Orleans Tribune, an African-American newsmagazine

Did they find any Anglo-Saxon-Celtic-American newsmagazine to quote from? Of course not! Such a magazine would be branded racist.

MLK Day is a dishonest black holiday

Martin Luther King Day?

I had a letter published in The Blade (Toledo, Ohio) and sent to President Reagan, pleading with him not to commit the folly of creating any foolish "Martin Luther King Day." Our fellow black Americans, generally speaking, still hated President Reagan after the fact and still don't practice the good things (there were some good things - they weren't all plagiarized were they?) King preached.

A more worthy and honest holiday would commemorate Lee and Jackson, among others in this "Generals Month" of January, based on facts and not fables and feelings.

If we're to be judged by the content of our character rather than the color of our skin, why continue to demand quotas and curves and tolerate such racist organizations as the NAACP?

Why doesn't somebody do a documentary on those humble folk marching back then (with their useful idiot whites, too many liberal Jews) with a split screen exposing "niggas with attitude" (a black phrase), the rampant crime, outrageous rates of illegitimacy, unemployment by choice, gangs, welfare projects, black on black violence (not to mention assault on others), the "menace to society" mentality (another black phrase, thanks to excellent director Albert Hughes), disproportionate black prison population and the verbal lynching concerned blacks suffer mercilessly when they dare speak out against such inexcusable poverty of the spirit and moral degradation, slavery to sin and self-destruction?

It is appropriate on this black holiday (and that's what it amounts to, in all honesty), to consider this issue of race from a biblical perspective that those horribly brainwashed by the politically correct cult hate with a passion and rage against in vile anarchist fashion, drowning out any reason and voice other than their own. Regardless, this biblical truth must be shared, must be made known, while we still have the freedom to exercise our God-given rights of speech and religion.

Is interracial marriage wrong? Did God intend for the races to be separate? Did God divide the nations, segregate the peoples, to preserve distinct family ties?

The plain truth is made known in Race Matters.
